It’s a beautiful sunny day. Crisp, but unseasonally warm for March under the beaming spring sun. Britney and Kyle’s wedding day was supposed to be months ago, but Covid lockdown’s meant that they had to postpone their wedding day. Now, in the sweet in-between of the restrictions lifting to allow weddings to have guests, and the next impossible to determine future during this global pandemic, they are finally able to invite their nearest and dearest to watch them get married.
Britney and Kyle started their wedding day getting ready at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast, a romantic spot in Harrow Ontario set in wine country and just across the road from Lake Erie. Immediate family was there to help Britney get ready and share mimosa’s, and Kyle used the guest suite to prepare for their wedding day.
They had their first look in front of Magnolia House and travelled to Windsor to take photos with extended family members (including their adorable dog) at Willistead Park. Afterward, they made their way to The Coffee Exchange where they had their very first date before heading back to Magnolia House for their ceremony.
Guests gathered outside under the long shadows of the trees, backlight by the setting sun, and tucked underneath blankets provided by the couple. Britney and Kyle said their own personal vows to each other in front of their immediate family, and in front a live feed for those that couldn’t make it due to lockdown restrictions.
Afterward, they celebrated inside with drinks and a catered dinner as the sun set through the windows, a beautiful end to a stunning intimate wedding day!
I loved being able to capture their story. I had the privilege of taking their engagements photos, and seeing it all come full circle on their wedding day from the place they had their very first date, to the Magnolia House for their ceremony, gave me such joy. Congratulations Britney and Kyle!
